#45 Doc link 2.9.15 on webservr doesn't work

Other (15)

I suggest to point to the same documentation,
regardless of version. It is unlikely that the
targetlinks change from version to version.
If at all, documentation changes fundamentally from 3.x
to 4.0.

Can you be more specific? I didn't find a broken link (but
    didn't check them all).

I really think once 3.0 is out, the docs on the webserver
should stay with whatever the last stable version is.
Andreas will be linking help hints from the CGI editor to
the docs on the webserver, and this should stay in sync.

Also, are we creating confusion by referencing 2.9.15 when
there is no such version publicly available?

Well, there is a symlink on the filesystem of the webserver,
which is supposed to point to the current version
    2.9.14 -> current-docs. Sadly the symlink 2.9.15 ->
current-docs is missing. And given that its something that
we have to do manually, its likely to be missed again.

Yeah, forgot to symlink 2.9.15 when we
changed to that version in the middle of
a development cycle (i.e. without due
process a la dev manual). It's now there,
but won't help that much yet, because the
link generation needs to be made aware of
the user manual config section split into
    multiple files (will do).

I think both is right: We can save
    the docs in major.minor/user-manual/
for stable releases (and gererate the
    links only as major.minor/HELP_LINK_PREFIX,
but continue to generate new dirs (and symlink
the cvs-only interim versions) for development
Just think how many new and renamed options
and actions we have seen in 2.9.x.

There will be substantial changes in syntax,
number and purpose of config files again in
the 3.1 branch, and they won't happen all at
    once, I guess.

    .02, Andreas

Essentially this is what is being done now.
