    Hi ppl,

The demo's look awesome and i really need this for my project.

Im having trouble compiling this software. After ./configure i get an error:

checking for JPEG... libraries -L/sw/lib -ljpeg, headers (none)
    configure: error: libjpeg not found

    Alternative:

checking for JPEG... libraries -L/opt/local/bin -ljpeg, headers (none)
    configure: error: libjpeg not found

This is strange since jpeg is already installed.
    Proof:
    Macbook-2:iipsrv-0.9.7 elger$ cd /opt/local/bin
    Macbook-2:bin elger$ ls | grep jpeg
    cjpeg
    djpeg
    jpegtran

    What am i doing wrong?

    Regards,
    Elger

just forgot the fink alternative for port :)

      fink install libjpeg
      fink install libtiff

just 2 lines can make my day

You need the libjpeg header files. As you have gcc installed, I presume you have installed the development kit. The libjpeg stuff may be contained as an optional package within this. Otherwise, you will need to download the libjpeg sources (and probably the tiff sources also). Alternatively there is fink for Mac OS X for installing source packages which can do this semi-automatically.
