Due to font problems with my TeX installation, I decided to reinstall from scratch. Since I-Installer's uninstall didn't seem to do the job properly, I decided to do
cd /usr/local/
sudo rm -rf teTeX
but this was not possible due to the directory
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmt.gwtex
is badly corrupted. It contains nothing, but cannot be removed -- "rmdir: texmf.gwtex: Directory not empty".

Not even after repairing my disk using Disk Utility am I able to remove this directory.

I understand that this may be very hard to track down, but it seems to me that it could somehow be related to I-Installer.
