Hi,

1) The Dynamic IP system is good, but there is also another way, which may be handy;

Use a what's my IP number service, or program.
And email your IP number to the other person who you wish to establish a connection with.

2) Additional possibility - but very clunky
The email you send, could include the web link for the website that can detect their IP number, program to download for detecting IP number, or instructions for using a program already on the computer for detecting the IP number.
