#4 IHU locks up if port not available

An established installation with IHU on both ends locks up if the caller cannot reach the port to initiate that call.

how to reproduce:
incoming traffic on receiver end is blocked on the selected tpc port
clicking CALL button on caller end freezes that caller instance: last sign of life is button down visual change.
call button does not come back up, Program is locked solid. Title bar close icon dead, only solution: killall ihu
