Hello all, Version 1.12 of IFS has just been released; it is available both as a full package and as a patch from v1.11. This release contains no new features, but fixes all known bugs. Note that I was not able to reproduce the bugs in some of the reports submitted, and as such I was not able to address those issues (I can't fix it if I can't see it on my end). v1.12 will be the last release under the v1.x line of IFS; the next release (barring some major 1.x bug that has been missed) will be IFS v2, which will be rewritten from the ground up and involve a number of significant changes and improvements. If you have any suggestions for this new version, or to see what we have planned for v2, discussion will take place in the IFS forum: http://www.obsidianfleet.net/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=41 Regards, Frank Anon |

IFS v1.11 has just been released; it contains no new features, but fixes all known problems with 1.1 (and trust me, there are a number of them). It can be downloaded at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=99641 There are two possible downloads: one for people currently running v1.0, and a smaller patch for people running v1.1. Please make sure that you install the correct one, as using the wrong install/upgrade file may cause database problems Enjoy! Admiral Frank Anon Obsidian Fleet Joint Command OFHQ Webmaster (coding) |

I've just released a patch for 1.0 (final), which addresses two problems: - removes hard-coded Obsidian Fleet email addresses when submitting a Task Force report, and instead forwards the report to everyone in the user database with Triad and FCOps flags set. - adds new COs properly so that they can access CO functions You can download the patch (named "1.0 (final) - Patch A") at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=99641 Cheers, -Frank --- Admiral Frank Anon Obsidian Fleet Joint Command OFHQ Webmaster (coding) |
