Alright, Say my database is corrupt, and I have a backup of right before I moved it to the iscsi mount. What if I restore my database files, yet leave the SimiasWork folder as it is...bad idea? Will the database update automatically, based on the clients when they connect again to sync? Or, will I be forced to have every client revert to normal folder, then recreate it once they connect again? -----Original Message----- From: Vince D. Subject: Re: [ifolder-users] fatal crash of production server I haven't looked at the Simias code, but it may be trying to create a new database assuming that there isn't one. As far as I can see, the FILE_EXISTS only occurs after failing to open the existing database. Don't know about the lock file. I suppose it's worth trying to rename the existing FlaimSimias.lck file and see if that helps. > The FILE_EXISTS is suspicious...are there any permissions to check, or > can the lock file get stuck? > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Vince D.
