Development Environment Setup

This is a Visual Studio 2012 project. Visual Studio 2012 is recommended to develop this project.

Before opening the solution, please make a copy of file "BIM.IFC.props.template - copy this file and change its name to BIM.IFC.props" and change the copied file's name to "BIM.IFC.props". This file contains user-specific data, such as the reference path to "RevitAPI.dll", which could vary by machine. It's difficult to version the file because every user would commit their changes every time to the repository, so this file is on the ignore list.
