Hi All, I received an IFC file from Tekla that has elements being grouped as IfcElementAssembly. I don't have access to the export settings in Tekla to change the export. My workflow requires me to open this file in Revit and after export it to Navisworks. However, even if I change the IFC import settings to accommodate this issue, it doesn't seems to fix the problem. I have IfcBeam, IfcDiscreteAccessory and IfcMechanicalFastener being grouped under the IfcElementAssembly and I would like that when importing this file to Revit, these objects would be mapped according to my mapping table. Does anyone has similar issues? Would anyone have any suggestion of how to overcome this issue in Revit? Thank you very much.
