Hi everyone.
I am getting different results from IsExternal with IfcWindow (image 3&4) although they are hosted in different instances of the same wall type (image 1&2) .
As far as I know, IfcWindow gets the Function property of its host (in this case Wall) if no other parameter is added to the window family category that can override it. If this is true, why is the window showing False when the function of its host is Exterior?
For the purpose of this test I am using the export option ifc 2x3 coordination view so I am sure that this is not been triggered by our custom IFC export setup.
