I have a page that is running very slowly, responding slowly to user actions such as typing. I accessed the page through IE Sieve, and to my amazement, no leaks were detected at all. Zero. No matter what I do, even refreshing the page, the number of leaks detected remains zero.
However, 7000 nodes are being "accessed" according to IE Sieve. I'm not sure what this is telling me, other than it sounds like a lot. It might fit the observation that if we remove content (HTML/JSP) from the page, the delayed responses go away. So my question is, what is "DOM Usage" or "#inUse" telling me?
