Try this:

download the 1.11 version from here
http://search.cpan.org/author/GAAS/Image-Info-1.11/

unpack it to , lets say, ~you/image_info/lib/Image/Info.pm".

replace in every IDS module the string "use Image::Info" for "require
/home/you/image_info/lib/

Should make your IDS use the right version of Image::Info without making
your ISP downgrade it.
