Hi! First: Thanks for a great package. I really needed something of this sort, and IDS seems to have the right level of sophistication: It seems to have all the right features - and just those! And now a suggestion: Have you thought about using 'jpegtran' for rotations? jpegtran has the benefit of allowing you make a lossless rotate since it manipulates the image file directly without doing the decode/rotate/encode process. An added benefit is that it has an option called 'copy all', which copies all markers into the rotated image - and this actually preserves Exif data!
