#29 BUG Exif Data

Ok it´s not a Feature Request, it´s a bug.

in ids-0.80 (and later i think) there´s a problem with
Imagemagick. Often certain EXIF seems to make it to
give warnings(!) on certain architektures. despite this
warning, it often works. i don´t know whether PerlMagick
stops in this case or IDS but the script always dies with

"Exception 325: Corrupt JPEG data: 2 extraneous bytes
before marker 0xd9 (albums/path/image) at /idsShared.
pm line 611" (the die after the $scaledimage->Read(...))
probably you could catch this Warning and proceed? it´s
really annoying :(
