idletunes cannot connect to itunes

On starting, idletunes notifies that it cannot connect
to itunes. After closing the messabox, idletunes then
gracefully exits.

I tried this when itunes was already running, as well
as when itunes is not running.

What can be the reason for not finding itunes?

I have the same problem with iTunes 7 under WinXP Pro. I'll
be happy to provide further info if necessary.

This is the first time I've tried idleTunes, so I can't
comment on compatibility with older iTunes versions.

jep, I can confirm that.
Just updated to the most recent itunes and got the latest
idletunes - not working.

i think you need iTunes7 so it doesn't function because the
software hasn't been updated since there was iTunes 6.x

same with me - could be because you've moved your itunes folder to a location different from the default one...

I had the same problem with 0.84 but 0.84a found it with no difficulty.
