The station I normally broadcast on just updated the Shoutcast server to V2. And now I'm unable to connect from IDJC. There don't seem to be any options for Shoutcast V2. Or am I missing something obvious?

Only the V1 protocol is supported by IDJC but V2 servers do still support the old connection protocol unless in version 2.5 they removed it or it was switched off in the server config file.

I decided to recreate libshout-idjc from scratch using the upstream development tree. This makes pulling in upstream updates super easy. It's available here: https://sourceforge.net/p/idjc/libshoutidjc/code/ci/master/tree/
I am mentioning it because I don't fully trust the old code.

The latest IDJC has extra security options which may be required for connecting to your server. The old way of connecting sent the password as cleartext.

Is it libshout that doesn't support V2 then? With out V2 support, I can no longer DJ on the station I've been on for 5 years. I'll try and get them to re-enable V1.
