Not too long ago, I contributed the jack1 interface to snapd, the universal package format, from Canonical, that makes the same package run on a lot of different linux distribution. https://snapcraft.io
The interface will be available on the next release of snapd, but can already be testes from the candidate channel.
And, since I love and use idjc so much, I also made a snap package.
Are you interested in maintening the snapcraft.yaml file that alows the snap to be built, and publish the snap yourself in the snapstore ? If not, maybe I can publish the snap in the store on your behalf ?
