I have no idea whats caused this. We upgraded from 0.8.8 to 0.8.14 recently under Ubuntu 12.04.4. IDJC seemed to be running fine for a few days but now it won't start. All we get is this error:

idjc
jack client ID: idjc_default

backend launch attempt 1
started 6 encoders, 6 streamers, 4 recorders
player read buffer allocated for 2048 frames
awaiting reply
got idjc backend ready

Quick fix was just to delete ~/.config/idjc and copy some older settings in its place.

Any ideas what could've caused this Stephen? Unfortunately I didn't backup the problematic idjc config files so I can't provide that for you. I will do that if it happens again.

Next time just delete the playlist files so you don't lose your effects and server connection settings and yes I would have liked to have looked at it.

I will look at making that code a bit more robust.
