The USDA released an updated database so we've included it. In addition a bug was found (and fixed) that skipped most of the portion sizes for a lot of items in the database.
OS X users should now have the feel of a more native app with the menu being moved to the top menu bar.
With this release you will be able to add custom foods if they are missing from the DB.
Bug Fixes:
- progress bars will not update their maximum value when diet is changed
- restoring backups will not work
Enhancements:
- Search in database is now faster and enter key will always invoke a search
- date panel moved above meals panel
- Added Help->About menu
This is essentially RC3. No changes were made in the program since.
Enjoy
RC3 fixes some major problems with the editing of meals, user and diet. It is advised everyone with older version upgrades to this one. Unless we find more problems, this will become 1.0
We've added the option to edit your meals, but that will work only for newly added ones. Old ones you can only rename. Also added a couple of save warnings.
Updated Database to the latest from the USDA web site.
We are happy to announce that iDiet, the diet management tool, is at RC1 level. It can be downloaded at the usual section.
RC1 is a much better release than our Pre-Release, which was more like an alpha version.
Please, download it and let us know what you think.
