The first combat unit available would be a ranged rifle bearing soldier. The rifleman would have balanced armor and attack power. Soon after in the tech tree a second unit would be available, the Suppressor, a melee ranged unit with armor>attack power. Two upgrades would then be available. One would increase the attack power and decrease the armor of the rifleman. The second would give the Suppressor a stun ability, slowing movement of any target hit by melee. The resulting strategy would be to keep your Suppressors in front of the riflemen preventing enemy units from reaching the rifleman.
