#24 URI conversion: does not properly detect wrong URIs

Querying the REST web services with the following wrong URI: http://purl.org/obo/owl/PATO_000005 (the correct recorded one being: http://purl.org/obo/owl/PATO#PATO_000005)
See: http://www.ebi.ac.uk/miriamws/main/rest/convert?uri=http://purl.org/obo/owl/PATO_000005
returns some wrong results.
I think this query should not return anything.
