I like the bitmap approach - easy to setup. Program is very useful. Several suggestions for future development:
1. Copper thickness > 3mils (mostly to look at bus bars
2. show peak current density in A/sq in (also you show in mA/mm2 but label it MA/mm2 (megaAmp)
3. instead of pixel current density in the output plot show current density in A/mm2
4. Allow setting excitation current (I have to derive voltage from analyzed resistance and desired current
5. allow multiple independent current sinks
Thanks for the comments. Yes changing the output units would be more helpful in making use of the output and multiple source would not be too difficult to do.
My focus on the next release is thermal co-simulation - computing temperature rise and current density simultaneously. Partway there.
As well, I hope to make it easier for contributors by changing to eclipse environment and sourceforge git.
