Ugh, I had no idea this could happen.
I had a piece of the ICU repository checked out locally, as a subdirectory
of another checked out repository, because I am involved in a project (the
Perl DateTime project) that is using the ICU XML data.
I ran "cvs tag release-0-01" in the top-level directory of this
repository, and this apparently applied the tag to the chunk of _your_
repository that I had checked out anonymously!
I apologize for this, but I obviously had no idea that CVS would let me do
this. I've moved the ICU stuff to a different directory locally so this
won't happen again but just as an FYI, all the files under /locale/icu/xml
from the /usr/cvs/icu have been tagged with "release-0-01".
Ugh, CVS is so broken.
Again, my apologies.
