Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: jdackle (jeanackle) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Better placing of the workspace pager on the taskbar Initial Comment: Currently (version 1.2.23), IceWM's option in ~/.icewm/preferences "TaskBarWorkspacesLeft=0" places the workspace-pager right of the clock and even the taskbar hide-button! (see attached picture for a screenshot) IMHO right-placing of the workspace-panel should place it left of the hide-button (and preferably of the clock). A yet better option (from the user's standpoint, that is!) would be to actually be able to determine the relative position of each element (menus, workspace-pager, CPU monitor, etc) in the taskbar. The option in the ./icewm/preferences" file might look something like this: # Placing order of elements on the taskbar TaksbarElementOrder=AppsMenu,ShowDesktop,WindowsListMenu,ToolbarApps,OpenWindows,Tray,NetMonitor,CPUMonitor,WorkspacePager,Clock,HideButton ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=350031&aid=1801173&group_id=31 |
