I have been wandering around the source code lately
attempting to start a patch/modification which will
restrict the size of maximized windows. What I would
love is to run icewm without the taskbar, but have
just a 5 or 10 pixel buffer around all my max'd
windows in which I can always use a mouseclick.
Sounds completely possible to me, but I am a beginner
to X programming, and only an amateur with C++. So,
if anyone knows where the default display/screen size
is stored in icewm, and perhaps where I would have the
most luck getting the icewm code specific background
info in the source tree, I would appreciate it
greatly. I have seen some promise in
YFrameWindow::configureClient in wmframe.cc, but I am
still uncertain. If anyone wants to help or suggest
ideas, thatwould be good too. Thanks,
