#915 Resolution ignored when changed

When I change the resolution by means of xrandr -s 1024x768 from current 1366x768, the screen gets narrower but icewm draws behind the screen.

Thus it is very limited to use on projector.

icewm 1.3.8.
Slackware 14.1 32-bit

It used to work correctly before (likely icewm 1.3.7 + Slackware 14.0).

killall -HUP or restarting icewm fixes the resolution trouble; however it is somehow inconvenient

not found on (icewm 1.3.8 + SUSE Enterprise linux Desktop 12)
resolution can be changed easily by xrandr.
