From dnet-exported directory? If not, get the latest version from CVS and make sure that dnet-exported/dnet.lib is used. Anyway, try to find in what fuction of dnet-exported _snprintf is used and change it to #ifdef WIN32 wsnprintf(...) // windows.h should be included #else //old code #endif I'm not very good Windows coder, so fix my solution and let me know if it works, or not, and also post here a patch. Remember, that is not *easy* task, cos you'll need to integrate traceroute probes as scan_probes (see ctarget.h and caengine2.h) and recieve/send them inside caengine2.h (inside active engine), But anyway, this is a good way to understand all icescan internals ;) Regards, -- Key aka Alexander Bolshev (key (at) timeold.ru, key (at) th-china.ru) Using Mutt -- The Mail Agent |

Hi all, There is lot of things need to be done before running IceScan working. Why don't we add it in our to-do list and prepare a .bat file which will work similar to unix script and future can become part of installer, if we plan any. Anshul Kapoor |

ere is the output.. meanwhile i will try to debug the function :get_system_dns_server() .... root@rajeev:/home/rajeev/Desktop/js/SF/IceScan# ./icescan -V IceScan v 0.0.7rc1 (http://sf.net/projects/icescan/) started at Thu Apr 16 10:35:51 2009 Compiled with libpcre(version unknown) with libpcap with libdnet. You can try to debug function get_system_dns_server(std::vector<icestring>&) from icesockets/sock_name.cc function to see what's the problem. Btw, have you got libpcre installed? please send icescan -V output. Or you pcre distributive won't work (broken build).
