OK, I've built ice_guide_daemon on OS X, though without the filesystem set up for ini files and /etc/version it doesn't get too far. I think I'll start by making a custom version that just retrieves and unpacks the EPG and TAP files for manual upload (in the absence of puppy). Stage 2 might be to talk to Nathan to see about integrating file upload etc. ala puppy. I expect a Mac Mini would make a nice Topfield controller with a full icebox port :) Next update likely in a couple of weeks... Fred |
