#1 extending applescript capabilities

i don't know if this is possible, plausible, or of any interest
to you guys, but this is what i think would be cool.

Communicating my music listening habits to buddies of mine
is part of life, being that we're all big music buffs. Setting
my auto-reply to an iTunes monitoring script isn't quite
enough for me. What i think would be swell... as well as
functional for others in addition to myself, is the ability to
run applescripts directly from the iChat text field in any
given chat. for example, if i could configure the text "/tunes"
to automatically run a script to tell the person what i'm
listening to in iTunes, or configure "/uptime" to
automatically tell the recipient my uptime, etc etc. My friend
on windows has a similar capability, and I am quite jealous.
I'm not a programmer myself, but if you could contact me at

or if you think it's a good enough idea to run with it, keep
me posted, it would make life that much better ;)
