If you create a DtStart object using a DateTime object to set the value and the timezone, the generated iCal can be incorrect.

For example, on March 5th I created an event for March 18th at 2:00 p.m. I created a DateTime object, filled in the appropriate milliseconds value and also the timezone (America/New_York). The iCal generated from this object had the DtStart value at 1:00 p.m. It doesn't appear the iCal generation is taking into account the change between DST and EST.

If the DtStart object is created using the string representation, the generated iCal seems to be fine.

See the message posted in the Help forum titled "Creating iCal with correct timezone" for all of the details.
