Hello all,

I am writing because I am not sure what is going on with this project. 
 I am under the impression that lance, the founder of this, has given up 
on us.  This is due to a post I read at asp.net.  If I am incorrect, I 
am sure lance will mail me and I will send an email correcting myself to 
the list.  Assuming I am correct though, I still feel that we can move 
on.  Lance has given us a great starting point to work with.  I am 
asking that everyone who is still involved please email me and let me 
know that you are taking part in this.  We need to break things up, and 
cover some basic information.
One thing I would like to discuss is the documentation.  It seems to me 
that this documentation comes from DNN.  The only problem I have with 
that, is that it is tailored for the portal.  I also would like to know 
if everyone here is using a version of visual studio, and which one.  I 
would prefer to move this to a visual studio 2k3 project with 1.1 as the 
framework.  Even if many of you are using the sdk, I do advise that we 
move to 1.1 because there is no reason to hang on to 1.0.  I am 
currently taking part in the DNN project, and an issue has come up about 
the move from 1.0 to 1.1 which I would like to avoid here.(P.S. it's 
only $29 to go from VS 2002 to 2003)  I strongly encourage that we start 
by moving everything to code behind files.  
I am looking for some input from all of you, so please do not hesitate 
to contact me.  I want to get the ball rolling on this, as I know from 
my experience with DNN that once you start getting this going, the 
people will come and help you not only find all the bugs, but fix them 
too.
