Hi Everyone,
I want to thank everyone for expressing interest in helping with the
project development. It seems like there have been a lot of people
waiting, or wanting to develop a .Net Open Source Store. I wanted to let
everyone know the status of things to try and lay a clear working
foundation.
First, anyone interested in actually being a listed developer on the
project (via SourceForge) needs to go to Sourceforge and create a new
account:
https://sourceforge.net/account/register.php
After you have created your account, simply send me your Sourceforge
(SF) username (I have to have this in order to add you to the project.
This is SF's enrollment process, not mine). Once you send me your SF
username, I will add you to the list of developers. If you are
interested in helping administer a particular section of our SF project
page (e.g. Discussion Forum, Task Manager), please state this in your
email to me. Also, please note that you do not need to be listed as a
project developer on our SF project page --
https://sourceforge.net/projects/ibssopensource/ , in order to help with
the project. You can still visit the SF project homepage and view the
task list, discussion forum, mail archive, file releases, etc. The
developer list is more of a tool to add people interested in helping me
manage the project within the SF interface.
Second, I am creating an initial task list - in order of priorities as I
see them currently. If you would like to be assigned to any particular
task and/or feel that a task needs to be added/edited, please let me
know.
If you have any questions, thoughts in general about the project,
recommendations, etc..., please feel free to contact me. Your feedback
is welcomed.
Best Regards,
