Authentication fails

I'm new to TPM and have started reading two books + a couple of other sources. I have also started
to use the utilities, but I'm stuck now with creating a own storage key below the SRK.

The createkey  command returns: "Error Authentication failed (Incorrect Password) from TPM_CreateWrapKey"
    What is wrong?

Here is the sequence of commands:

    ./tpminit # success
    ./tpmbios # success
    ./selftest # success with "TPM_SelfTestFull returned success"
    ./getcapability -cap 6 # success with "Result for capability 0x6 is : 0x01010000  = 16842752"
    ./createek # success
./getpubek # success with pubek.pem written to my working directory.
./takeown -pwdo otest -pwds stest # success with srk.pem written to my working directory
./createkey -kt e -pwdp -stest -pwdk pftest1 -ok pftest1 -hp 40000000 # fails with the error above.

Sorry for the very late reply. I thought sourceforge would alert me to a question.

I don't see anything wrong. I tried your sequence and did not get an error. Could you perhaps send me a complete TPM trace?
