Overview
IBD handles documents in the Word 2007 format, which is one of the Office Open XML formats. The Office Open XML format is used for the following documents:
- The template documents (e.g.
word-en.docx or word-es.docx).
- The document generated by IBD when using the Create button at the bottom of the form.
- The document attached for the Terms of Reference fields.
To create and open those documents, you will need to be using either:
- Word 2007 on Windows, Word 2008 on Mac OS X, or later versions.
- Word 2000, Word XP, and Word 2003 users with the free Microsoft Compatibility Pack installed.
Limitations
- Images are not supported in documents you attach to the Terms of Reference field. If you attach a document which contains images, the part of the document that contains those images will be ignored.
