On the AWS RHEL 8 box, I have another issue I'm trying to sort.
I have in Informix Dynamic 4GL (D4GL aka. 4js BDL), which is gettin g a segmentation vioalation
in certain circumstanses.
- when run from the command line and args are enter4ed via screen forms - It Works ok.,
- when run fomr the command line using command line args - It gets a segmenation vialoation
- when run from CUPS reprorts queue with comman d line arges - It works
- when run from cron command line args - It gets a segmenation vialoation
Its the cron I'm trying to debug, I triss enable the ibcs-sus trace option to detecet where the segmentation violation isa taking place, (suspecting it to be the cannd line processing code),
, but with trace enabled it works fine! in all cases.
Can you suggest how to I can troubleshoot the problem?
