#3 acpi detection is broken

I installed version 0.5.2 on my Thinkpad laptop running Ubuntu. PMU and APM are not installed. ACPI and SYSFS interfaces are available. When I run ibam from the command line it reports "No apm data available".

Running strace on the executable reveals that it is attempting to open /proc/acpi/info for readonly access. That file does not exist even though /proc/acpi/ exists. So does /proc/acpi/battery/.
