Isn't the whole point of using IAXmodem for faxing purposes i.e. interface VoIP based fax to old software that was written to interface with hardware modems? What are you trying to achieve?

Subject: [iaxmodem-users] About fax function delete

hello everyone,

Recently, our project decided to use  iaxmodem to replace hardware on

the os of IBM aix.

But we do not want to use the fax function in iaxmodem,

because it depends on liftiff lib what aix does not installed by default.

Is there any simply way to do this(delete fax function)?
