When you upgraded to the newer iaxmodem versions did you do it in a like manner as the Elastix install did originally? We want to make sure that your new iaxmodem install overwrote the old... that you're not inheriting old .so files or something like that. But it does sound like a fundamental installation problem.

i use elastix with a te405p for sending faxes, but in the last days i've see that the versions of hylafax and of iaxmodems was too much old.
I have updated hylafax with hylafax+ and all was ok, but when i have updated iaxmodem, i can't send faxes anymore.

i have tried many versions of hylafax but the issue doesn't change.
i have tried many versions of iaxmodem and the only that works it's the one that comes with the elastix, the 0.0.14 .
How can i fix this problem ?
Try putting "nojitterbuffer" into your /etc/iaxmodem config files.
I've tried to set "nojitterbuffer" in my config file for ttyIAX10, i've restarted iaxmodem and hylafax with commands
service iaxmodem restart
service hylafax restart

For installing i've downloaded last source iaxmodem 1.1.1 and i've done the follow commands :
./build static
and after i've copied the iaxmodem file to /usr/sbin (in elastix this it's the directory of executable commands).
I've tried many different version, like 0.1.7, 0.1.11, 0.0.11, 1.0.0 but the only that works again it's the 0.0.14 (the one that comes with elastix)
