[Iaxclient-devel] sound issues

has anyone using the linux verion of iaxcomm noticed the sound bar not
changing the volume? if i use xmms (think winamp) and adjust the sound level 
i can see pcm going up and down from mixer and hear the difference. But iaxcomm
seems to change speaker vol and not pcm which doesn't seem to affect the volume
level.

Mixer pcm      is currently set to 75:75 <-xmms changes this
Mixer speaker  is currently set to 62:62 <-iaxcomm changes this

Btw this is on FreeBSD.
