Here's what I see about this, which I imagine is just a starting point
for you.

1) Good:  It's a bunch smaller than the WxWindows app.  136kb vs 1.4MB.
2) Bad: Any enhancements you make here will be Win32 only.

But, it is great that you've been able to use the library with VC, and
etc, which might help people making Win32-only clients.  

I'll look at your patches and etc today, and see about applying them.
