hey alex,
you're absolutely right about xwWidgets ...
checking for wx-config... /usr/bin/wx-config
checking for wxWidgets version >= 2.6.0... no (version 2.5.3 is not
new enough)
checking for wx-config... (cached) /usr/bin/wx-config
checking for wxWidgets version >= 2.4.0... yes (version 2.5.3)
checking for wxWidgets static library... no
so i installed the latest version (wxMac-2.8.7)
but configure seems to think that i'm still using 2.5.3.
looking at config --help, there are a few items that allow me to set
the path of wxWidgets.
--with-wxdir=PATH Use uninstalled version of wxWidgets in PATH
--with-wx-config=CONFIG wx-config script to use (optional)
--with-wx-prefix=PREFIX Prefix where wxWidgets is installed
(optional)
--with-wx-exec-prefix=PREFIX
Exec prefix where wxWidgets is installed
(optional)
WXRC Path to wxWidget's wxrc resource compiler
do you know which ones i'm supposed to use ?
