    Hello there!

I am trying to access my 899 SPI ECU with a VAG-COM KKL 409 USB adapter
(wich uses pin 7),a 3-pin converter and IAW Scan 2 but I have some
    questions:

    1. My VAG-COM KKL 409 USB adapter utilizes chip CH340 and not FTDI
(FT232 RL). I have installed CH340 drivers. Is it possible to work with IAW
Scan like this? Will CH340 chip work with FTDI drivers?
    2. Should I rely on default port setting on windows device manager or do
I have to tweak them in any way? Baud, etc....
    3. My ECU is 16fm and not 16f, is this a problem?

Thank you very much for your time!

      1. I have not tested this chip, but there is a chance it will work.
      2. No, leave the defaults.
      3. No.

Language selection is made automatically based on the system (Windows) locale.

No, you may only read the immobilizer error codes, in fact I've planned to remove reading CODE errors from ECU diagnostics, but i haven't done that, however I've left the option. There is no way to remove the CODE via the DLC, you have to open the ECU and use a flash programmer.

Errors that are active (A) cannot be erased. First you have to eliminate their reason.
