Hi, I tested the software, it is pleasant to use.
But I have the same problem as the version "IAW ECU scan" (except 0.2.19), he refuses to communcate! It starts but after it loses the connection . Is there a specific adjustment to the COM port? (I'm with KKL adapter and my car is an Alfa Romeo 33 1.3 ie IAW 8F68).
And mode automatic detection does not work, it blocks the software, it freezes.

Sorry but I have no idea why you have the problem, I've found the bug in IAW ECU Scan after 2.19 which was preventing refreshing data, but that shouldn't be the case in IS2. Problem with your ECU is that it is very old and does not respond to some of the IAW-8F requests. Also people with old Alfa-Romeos seems to have problem with crashing the USB cable after starting engine (faulty ignition cables, coils or spark plugs - high electromagnetic interference). Program sould not freeze in any condition, even without car connected autodetection should finish with ECU not detected message.

I also tested it on a 1.3 IE IAW. It doesn't auto detect, but I can connect by choosing the 8F.
But I had to the "Compatability" option before connecting. Then it worked.
But when I started the engine it stayed connected but lost connection pretty quick. I have to press F12 to reconnect lots of times.
I'll try to upload the log file of it.
My spark plug wires are pretty old, so it might be caused by this?
