Hi, the ialertU i'm told works with the Apple Remote, but could this work with the Air Mouse Pro app for the iphone/ipod/ipad ?
How can I arm and disarm the MacBook Pro without setting the alarm off ?
Unfortunately, I don't own an iPhone or iPod Touch, so I have no way to try out Air Mouse Pro. From what I've read of it, I would imagine that if it is capable of sending keystrokes to your mac, then once you've armed iAlertU either by using the airmouse to click on the iAlertU menu, or by "typing" the configured shortcut key for iAlertU, you can disarm by simply "typing" your password into the mac via AirMouse.
I'd have to say that the most asked for feature now is the ability to arm/disarm via an iPhone. It's a great idea, but until I can afford one myself, it's not something I can effectively develop and test. This is the sort of thing that the odd donation contribute towards.
In addition to the iPhone itself, there are also other costs such as registering with Apple to be allowed to install an app into an iPhone for testing, etc. It's something I'd like to do, but at the moment it's beyond my budget.
In the meantime, I hope you can get AirMouse to do what you want.
Moving this to feature requests.
