hi, you was telling me that you had idea for the custom time control for iaeditor. Do you remember your idea still? What we will need is a tree for controllers and models with our custom drawing (I don't know how do you handle it with wxWidgets yet, but I don't think that it will be hard). Though now I think that tree control supports only icons (not custom images) - so probably our custom drawing will be required here too... -- greetings, Piotr Obrzut |

hi!
one of the problems i'm having with port to linux is wx windows
functions receiving strings directly as char* and my compiler complains.
i think this can be solved by enclosing them into wxT(),
example:
tabbedctrl->AddPage("Main");
should be:
tabbedctrl->AddPage(wxT("Main"));
i'll correct it in current cvs, and i hope this solution is correct,
please do this and it should compile seamlessly.
it does not address my problems with running the app, just make it
possible to compile it.

Hi Valentin, do you have any idea how to generate nicer sources with VisualVx? Now there are tons of warnings... - this tool sucks (and not only for that reason). It s very easy to create a new menu.Use an apllication such DialogBlocks or VisualWx to generate the menu code and then copy it to ia editor. I ll add soon the projects files that i used for this 2 editors. |

It is mostly for Valentin, but I think other may want to know.
I've tested recent gui changes and the look cool, but:
- resizing works strange: 3d window gets bigger only after making
it greater and then a bit lower.
- I can't see the File, View etc. menus (I'm sure they was in
previous version)
How do you work on the gui (I remember that you was using same
gui-maker)? I want to make some changes myself but I want them to
be in your gui project file (if you have sth like that, if yes then
it will be good idea to put it to cvs into /data/gui/ directory)
I want to make loading/saving ragdoll and world, by adding:
"World" "Ragdoll"
"Load" "Load"
"Save" "Save"
things into main menu, do you think it is good idea?

I don't have msys here, but I did clean checkout and everything is working after msvc build(even with tree including all entities - so it means that Valentin put his changes on cvs). The only problem I have here is segfault on exit. I will check it under msys right after I will be back at home.
