Driver works with a few slight issues
Recompiled Kernel 2.6.9
Fedora Core 3,
X.org says driver is i810,
lsmod says its i915
When I use "i855crt on 1024x768@75" I get a 1inch x 1inch black square on the top right of the display, although all else is fine and stable.
When I use "./i855crt overlaycrt on 1024x768@75" the overlays still appear on the LCD.
I also have SWCursor set to 1 in the x.org.conf. This seems to upset anything with overlays.
When the LCD powers down after 2mins, the CRT/Projecter stays on. This means i don't keep having to move the mouse mid presentation just to keep the projector from going off. Very cool, can you keep this please :]
About the black square this should due to the fact that i855crt run without the swcursor option, but the XServer is not patched.
Again to route overlay to CRT you need to patch the XServer.
Unlockly patches are available only for XFree 4.4. I plan to port also to Xorg.
About the swcursor that upset the overlay I suspect this is an Xorg driver bug.. I'll check.
Thanks fo the report
