#4 can't find videocard on hp dv4000

I'm trying to use i855crt on my HP DV4170 (DV4000)
laptop, but with no success. First I tried i810swicth,
which kinda worked, but the image was really messed up.
Then I tried i855crt, but it returns this messages:

>No know videocard has been found.

I don't understand why this is happening. I've seen
several users that use i855crt in similar laptops...
