NoSuchElementException when creating project

I get the following exception stack trace when doing Projects -> Open Project and then selecting a file, in order to create a new project. Might help or not: the project menu has several empty items under 'Quit'.

I tried with various JVM (1.5 and 1.6).

I'm afraid I'm only replying to this message to say that I'm having precisely the same problem.

I'll come back to you when and if I find a solution.

      By the way: I'm using jdk1.5.0_15 working under UBUNTU 8.04 on a VMWare-Workstation 6.0.2.

I have found a solution to this problem on this very site:

It worked for me like a dream.

      Check it out.

      Best of luck.

      Any ideas?
