    As always, being the creator of the program, I can't be a very effective critic from the user side.  I would like to know what you think, especially if you like it!

      Hello,

      i've just found you program and i find it were useful because
      * it is plattform indepent
      * you can use textfields
      * you have the possibility to export all notes to html

      Some suggestions:
      * a search function to search for text
      * more elements than text and picture, e. g. table or the possibility to attach whole documents (somehow like the index element or like in Microsoft OneNote 2007)

      Keep on programming, greetings Maria!

      Hello Darais!

      I like the approach of the programm, reminds me a lot of onenote.
      What i would like see is the possibility to move the bar to the left side.
      Being able to change the background color of the text would also be a handy feature.

      greets Stevie

      Hello,
      i like the program an the idea behind it.
      What i miss is the feature to start the "open file" function at the last saving-point. A search function is a must for everyday use.

      Well, I took it for a short test drive...  Thought the overall idea was good, but obviously a bit buggy for anything more than recreational use.  I've always had an interest in hypermedia and structural computing.  Although this only takes a small aspect of it, and seems to feed off of many ideas that have spun out of this field over the past 30 years, it is a very nice idea with some simple functionality.  It took me a bit of time to understand how to maneuver around the application;  I have yet to figure out the Index thingy in which I can add to a node.

      I think that one common theme mentioned in regards to features is a search function.  I would like it to be able to search for images (by file name) linked, content in text, and embedded documents (also by name, maybe content but thats a much later version).  Also, (since I mention embedded documents) I think a useful tool would be to embed documents into the node, much in the same way you would an image..  Not sure how this would work, something like double clicking the document would bring it up in it's own text editor (unless it was plain text, then do it internally to the app).  For the most part, it would be a thumbnail that is draggable to a desired size.

      The selecting and editing of text was a bit flaky.  I kept looking to the lower right where all my notes and images were located to perform a 'remove' of the current note, would be nice to have.  Also, removing images seemed to be tricky.

      I may be only speaking for myself on this, but I have a craving to be able to right-click an item in the node and perform actions on it.  This could alleviate the need to move the mouse to the lower right of the screen in order to perform actions.

      Hot keys could be used to quickly add nodes, and add children nodes.  Ctrl-N to create a new root node, or sibling of a selected node.  Ctrl-C could be used to create a child.

      If you are still looking for developers, I may be interested in helping..  I have a lot of Java experience from my school days, and have been developing in c# for the last 14 months.  I'm heavily involved in developing enterprise search engines with AI based techniques.  Just get in touch with me at gpelcha@gmail.com if interested.  Would like to start a dialog of what you see to be the core function of this project, and maybe provide some feedback as to what I potentially see to make it a useful tool.

      Hi darais.

      To be short, here are things that I would want:

      * sync with other computers or a server.  A server based, manual sync (with optional saved settings/password) would be a good start.  Having a more complicated algorithm to have updates to both sides maintained would be cool.
      * auto-resume last notebook on restart.  I only have one notebook (with a complicated hierarchy).  I don't want to have to open it each time.
      * auto-save.  Nice if I don't have to set a timer, either.  It just does it.
      * a bulleted list : each newline starts with a bullet
      * strikethrough font effect
