I have watched through the tutorials several times now, and made notes. I have now managed to link up my Zotero library, and a few entries. I find the learning curve from using the video very steep.

    Some suggestions for future documentation:
Create small, individual documents for 1) the ideas behind hypernomicon and 2) how to use the user-interface. That way that information is only given once.
Create small, individual documents outlining the steps to create a database, zotero-link, person, work, argument, position, terms etc. Do not clutter them with information contained in the general documents (see above). Do list any (current) limitations and how to work around them. For instance, it is not possible to have person connected to more than one discipline/subject. It is not possible to auto-import document from zotero. This information saves a user from looking for possibilities that are not there.
Create one big document showing in what order these small steps may be taken. I believe Hypernomicon is very flexible and supports quite a few different workflows for different situations.
Create separate documents for additiona/advanced/special questions/features. For instance, how to use the "search" feature. *

Thanks for your suggestions. Can you say more about how you see not having a person connected to more than one discipline/subject as a limitation (I assume you mean the Field/Specialty fields in the Persons tab)? I'm wondering if there isn't a different way to do what you need in the user interface, like list the person as affiliated with multiple departments or embed the description of terms associated with those fields in the person record description. Usually for the field/specialty, I put whatever the person got their Ph.D. in, even if it is different from the subject of the dept. they are affiliated with, because I consider the field they were originally trained in to be important information.
